Pulsation damper

Function
PRP reactive pulsation is used to eliminate the effects from damaging pulsations and vibrations in hydraulic systems.Vibrations cause sound noise, which is a serious environment problem in many facilities. In addition, vibrations cause damage in the form of wear on the hydraulic system components and the risk for leaking seals and connections will increase. PRP pulsation damper eliminates sound noise and prolongs the service life of all components in the hydraulic system. Because of a smooth flow, free from pulsations, the pressure filter will operate under optimum conditions.

Design
PRP pulsation damper has no resilient or cushioning mechanism and is furthermore maintenance-free. The pulsation damper operates in the way that high and low pulsation amplitudes meet and extinguish each other using reflection. PRP pulsation damper is suitable for frequencies as from 100 Hz.

Assembly
The pulsation damper should be installed on the pump outlet side. It can be installed in any position from vertical to horizontal.
